Our host, Jennifer William Managing Partner of EY Orlando started us off to engage in candid discussion and inspiring education on entrepreneurship in this three-part learning opportunity designed to jump-start your early-stage ideation through startup and scaling to help you refine your ideas, hone your business model and move your venture forward. Phoebe Fleming, Director of Research from Orlando Economic Partnership set the stage with the latest economic data, key insights into the impact of the pandemic and an outlook on starting businesses in Orlando. StarterStudio’s Lilian Myers provided “how to” instruction for turning your “spark” into a business by starting here in Central Florida. We closed the session with a panel of female founders sharing their real-world experiences aligning passion, purpose and mission, as they recounted how they made the pivot to entrepreneurship.
