StarterStudio welcomes eight startups to its fourth Seed Stage Accelerator class
ORLANDO, Fla. – May 8, 2019 – From a company prepared to revolutionize the battery to one that will enable renters to bid on apartments online, the members of StarterStudio’s fourth Seed Stage Accelerator class will be focused from May to October on capturing market share and getting their companies investment-ready.
The founders of eight local startups in Orlando and Daytona Beach will work closely during the next six months with handpicked mentors and engage in weekly educational programming in the heart of downtown Orlando while going through the tech startup hub’s advanced accelerator. Seasoned entrepreneurs and startup advisors Scott Ritchey and Steve Roth will lead the accelerator program.
Those startups that meet certain benchmarks will also be able to tap into StarterStudio’s nonprofit seed fund, which invests between $25,000 and $225,000 per company.
“Throughout the program, they’ll have access to our collaborative works spaces, ongoing mentorship and assistance preparing their pitch deck for our Central Florida Investor Showcase,” StarterStudio Executive Director Donna Mackenzie said.
During an Investor Showcase later this year, each startup will pitch its company in front of hundreds of supporters, business leaders and potential funders.
